Orlando is a magical and fun place for all ages. The theme parks are all within
easy reach of Florida Palms Villa is 5 miles away. Disney consists of 4 main
parks - The Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. If you haven't
been before, plan your visit. There are tickets available from a one day pass to
ten days take time to decide what is best for you and your
family.
Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure two more parks well worth
a visit. Sea World is another major theme park experience Busch Gardens in Tampa
(approx 1 hour drive) The theme parks are continually updating their facilities
and new rides appear every couple of years.
The climate is extremely well
suited to water parks Typhoon Lagoon- Wet n Wild on International Drive one way
of keeping cool on a hot day.

Orlando is not all about theme parks - shopping is a must!!!
No vacation to
Orlando would be complete without visiting some of the amazing malls. The
selection is excellent with all kind of temptation to buy at shopping villages,
traditional malls and enormous outlet malls.
Highway 192 is full of outlets
like World of Denim, Camera outlets and sporting goods outlets. Here some
of the better known centers you may wish to visit during your stay in
Orlando. BELZ Factory Outlet very large, possibly the biggest, of
Orlando's Outlet malls. Huge selection (over 150) of stores selling at
manufacturer direct prices. Situated just off the north end of International
Drive
Approximately 30 minutes from Florida Palms Villa this is a smaller mall, adjoining the
one above, but still offers 40+ stores selling designer goods at excellent
prices. A traditional American shopping mall contains approximately 200
stores including all the well known ones including Saks, JC Penny,
Sears and many more. Situated on the corner of Sand lake Road and Orange
Blossom Trail Only 30 minutes away from Florida Palms Villa.

Highway 192 at the Ferris Wheel this development has shops built
in a traditional turn of the century style.
The shops are the small one of a kind type selling an interesting items.
On Friday and Saturday nights there is an Antique and Classic Car
show that really pulls in the crowds and is a refreshing change.
This great day out combines education and entertainment
on an actual working centre for the American space program.
Depending on timing there is a chance you will get to see
a shuttle take off! Interesting exhibits include an actual
moon rocket, and moon rock!
The children can dream of being a astronaut.
1 hours drive will take to the west or East Coast
there you will find the beautiful beaches of Florida
St Petersburg Cocoa Beach Daytona.

If golf is your pleasure then there are enough golf courses around
the Orlando area , and many close to Florida Palms Villa to keep
even the keenest golfer happy. 3 miles down the road is the award
winning Falcons Fire golf course designed by Rees Jones, certainly
one of the best courses in central Florida. Another course about 5 miles
away is the much praised Mystic Dunes golf course. Many other courses
are within a short distance. For the less serious golfer and
entertainment, for all the family try one of the many crazy golf courses
that can be found in the surrounding area.

One place to go if you are a steak lover The Outback Steakhouse
The biggest steaks you will ever see if you like steaks this is the
place for you
Red Lobster for sea food, king prawns crabs, lobsters of course.
The variety was endless also as much add ones as you can eat
Green Tomatoes was one of my favorites if you have a vegetarian
in the family they will be in heaven so much choice
All along the 192 there are numerous restaurants here are some
more that have been recommended to us
Crabby Bills - most excellent for clams frogs legs and seafood sorry
I give the frogs legs a miss
The Boston Lobster house - eat as many fresh lobsters as you like for a set fee
Any from a selection in Celebration - classy and with that
Walt Disney sprinkle of magic.
For families on a budget nowhere better
than the eat all you can buffet restaurants

The Golden Coral was my favorite breakfast restaurant the bakery is to die for,
every time another freshly baked delight
Was ready piping hot straight from the oven the patisserie rings a bell to tell
you to come and feast your eyes on his creation
You just have to go and look it would be rude not to that’s my excuse anyway
I H.O.P. You like Pancakes wow you are in for a treat your
plate piled high with pancakes
with every topping you can imagine go on spoil yourself
