Orlando like most of Florida has a sub-tropical climate. This means temperatures
varying throughout the year typically between a low of 9° C (48° F) in January,
and a high of 33° C (92° F) in July. There are hours of sun virtually every day
all year round, which is why Florida is known as the 'Sunshine State'.
A
feature of Orland weather can be relatively high levels of humidity. This is
typical of a sub-tropical climate, and is why air-conditioning is everywhere in
Florida... homes, shops, attractions, cars etc. This villa does of course have
air conditioning throughout, and also a swimming pool which means that you can
have a refreshing dip anytime you choose.
Along with all the heat and
sunshine it does rain in Florida because it is sub-tropical, not an arid or
desert region. Most of it is concentrated in the four month period June to
September. What rain there is soon gives way to the heat and sunshine again, and
it can be a relief on some of the really hot days.
All in all, it mean
that Orlando really is a genuine all year round holiday destination.
